The Maybourne Riviera
Architecture Wilmotte & Associés
Area 83 rooms for 9,500 sqm
4,400 m² terraces
35,000 m² garden
The project, led by Wilmotte & Associés, transformed an existing hotel into a contemporary marvel with minimal environmental impact. Situated on steep terrain, the redesign retained only the “triangle” building, strategically positioned atop the rocky outcrop to reduce the complex’s footprint while maximising panoramic views.
Brought to life with OTIIMA PLUS and OPEN systems, the hotel seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor spaces through expansive windows and minimalist frames, achieving a clean, modern aesthetic. Inspired by 20th-century Modernism, the design features clean lines, white tones, and graphic forms. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sleek glass accents highlight its elegant, artful character.
Horizontal lines dominate the building’s aesthetic, highlighted by glass railings on the main building’s long balconies and echoed by the panoramic terraces below. The use of white cement enhances the building’s connection to its surroundings, creating a seamless visual continuity.
This remarkable hotel represents a blend of luxury, art, and nature, offering an unparalleled experience on the Côte d’Azur.
